Homeschool Conventions, 2012
Homeschool conventions and conferences are a great way to recharge
and focus. Plan early and your convention trip will be a success.
Homeschoolers get a chance to hear about new resources, books, and
programs. You'll have ideas coming at you from every direction, so it's
a good idea to take a notebook for jotting them down. If you're
traveling, do a little research before you go. Find out about local
museums, historic sites, etc. in the area. Some of the big homeschool
conventions require a lot of walking, so comfortable shoes are
recommended. Hotels often offer discounts for homeschool
convention attendees. Don't wait until the last minute, so you can
receive the discounted price.
